Statement of Faith

God

We believe that there is one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are the same in substance and power.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.

Humanity

We believe that God created humanity in His image according to His likeness. The first man (Adam) disobeyed and sinned against God. God and humanity were separated and as a result, human beings died spiritually.

Jesus

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and His status as the author and finisher of faith. Through His crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection, God made redemption and reconciliation available to humanity. Jesus ascended into heaven where He presently intercedes for believers. He will, as He has promised, return to earth in great power and glory.

Holy Spirit & Salvation

We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, who by grace performs the miracle of new birth through faith when a person repents of their sin and believes in Christ’s work on their behalf for forgiveness. The Holy Spirit indwells, teaches, leads, comforts, and convicts a believer. It is He who continually empowers and enables a believer to enjoy an intimate love relationship with God, experience victory over the demonic, and display His likeness forever.

Marriage

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders reflect the image and nature of God. We believe that God has established marriage as an exclusive relationship between one man and one woman, and all sexual activity outside this marriage relationship is sin.

Human Dignity

We believe every person has been created by God and endowed with great value and dignity. For this reason, everyone is to be shown compassion, love, kindness, and respect.
