Real Freedom In Christ!
Jesus came to earth to set believers free from their bondages and addictions (Luke 4:18-20). Therefore, in Christ, you are set free from your bondage to addictions. This freedom is the birthright of every child of God. (John 8:32, John 8:36, Galatians 5:1, 2 Corinthians 3:17, Romans 8:2)
Whenever we state this Biblical fact, we consistently hear, "Well, I'm a believer and I'm not experiencing Christ's freedom from my addictions!" Others have said, "I have tried over and over to break my addictions and have failed. If there is really freedom in Christ, then why am I not experiencing it?" The CFT Recovery Program has been designed to answer this question for you.
Many believers who keep trying and failing to conquer their bad habits eventually become discouraged thinking that God must either be unwilling or not interested in removing their yoke of addiction. But that belief cannot be farther from the truth.
The CFT Recovery Program is unique and different. It is not a performance-based program that offers a believer a way to stop drinking or taking drugs by replacing it with another socially acceptable behavior. Rather, it is a program that guides a believer into a correct concept of God along with understanding their identity in Christ. Our belief is that when a Christian truthfully knows and comes to believe who God is, who they are, and what Christ has given them, their life will dramatically change. They will normally and naturally stop engaging in self-destructive addictive behaviors as an ongoing life-style and will start experiencing the Holy Spirit's fruit of controlling self.
CFT's Recovery Program exists to educate and encourage believers on how to gain freedom from their addictions through understanding and appropriating their identity in Jesus Christ by the Spirit's enabling power.
