I am the executive director of CFT. My primary duty is to give vision and direction to the ministry.
The reason I am in this ministry to the body of Christ is because of God’s calling on my life.
My passion is to provide opportunities for others to come to know Jesus as Savior, Lord and Life. When I turned from my sins and placed my trust in Christ in 1971, I experienced Him as my Savior. When I surrendered my all to Jesus in 1973, I experienced Him as my Lord. However, it wasn't until 1990 that I experienced Christ as my Life.
For twenty years as a Christian, in vocational Christian work, I lived a frustrating life. I lived legalistically. I raised my children on a performance based acceptance, because I thought I had to perform for God’s acceptance. Unknowingly, I spiritually injured my wife, children, ministry, and self by my legalistic Christianity.
Knowing Christ as Life has given me the understanding that I am totally accepted by God because of Christ’s performance not mine. Knowing Christ is the secret to experiencing His abundant Life now. Through knowing Christ as my Life, I have come to understand my identity as a child of God and that I am complete in Him. Since understanding God’s grace, I have come to know what it means to be set free from the Law of Sin and Death. And I know what it means to walk after the Spirit. Praise God for His wonderful grace.
