About The Coach

Mark Fields

Mark Fields / Coach, Counselor

I have been a Christian since 1970 and lived the first half trying to gain God’s favor through performance FOR God. I finally realized my identity in Christ, my Father’s limitless unconditional love, and His inexhaustible supply to meet all my needs. Now I live FROM Christ’s life in me and enjoy God’s favor based on His work in me.

My life purpose is to lead Christians to discover and realize who God has created them to BE, and what God has created them to DO through coaching, discipling, and teaching. (Ephesians 2:10) My passion is seeing people become the person they were made to be.

To accomplish this, I became a trained Discipleship Counselor at CFT and a certified Life Coach.

My “formal” education is in Engineering and my professional experience is in management, leadership, and leadership development. Working 31 years in the marketplace has given me valuable experience in motivation, achievement, and realizing potential.

In my lifetime, I have experienced much diversity, living in Quebec, Canada, Singapore, and northern Japan.  Having learned (and forgotten) French and Japanese in my adult life, I enjoy encountering different viewpoints and opportunities.

My background is in athletics, having played football at Georgia Tech.  I continue to stay active by hiking, running, and cycling.
